I love embargoes on bike news, I mean come on... you are going to pay thousands to market your new bike, tomorrow... why have a cry because some specs were leaked today. Well that is pretty much what happened with the new Kawasaki ZX10R, there was an embargo, Cycleworld Magazine went to print with it and it appeared in news stands a bit earlier than expected (at least that's how I read it) then Hell for Leather Magazine, who have a bloody fantastic website were getting grief for leaking the info... goodness such stress... seems that Kawasaki couldn't have paid for better exposure... hmmm now there's a thought...

Anyway, seeing as MCN and Motobox have all joined the embargo breaking fun I figure it is all out in the public domain, and all you really want to know is what the story is, so at the risk of being sued (we have approximately a dollar fifty to our names) here is the info to hand...

2011 Kawasaki ZX10R:

Green, 198kg, 185hp (give or take), Showa big piston forks (which are fantastic), Traction control, sharper styling etc, etc. Nothing too ground breaking or anything.. I'm not really sure what all the fuss is about to be honest but if you want a bit more info it would be wrong of me not to send you over to Motobox for another take and some more detail, enjoy.
