How would you feel about a super high tech future bike with the body of some sort of alien space craft and the power plant from a world rally car? I would feel a little bit excited... maybe even in the trouser sort of area. That is exactly what genius (IMHO) Ian McElroy has prophesied with his KickBoxer concept. Word has it that he taught himself solidworks purely so he could put together this concept, design wise there doesn't appear to be anything too out of the ordinary but the composition sure is, twin single sided swingarms and a big stack of pulleys and the like combine with a crazy, insectoid frontal area and plank for a seat give the machine a purposeful demeanor.

Problems... many, torque wobble when revving is one that springs to mind at first... along with the weight of the engine. If anyone ever decides to build it (come on custom guys, go have a chat to Ian... it will be a blast!) It will be a cruiser more than a sport bike would be my guess. Either way with the power available from the turbocharged WRX boxer engine and the light weight of a bike it can only be a blast to ride... hand one over for a test ride aka HOON! Oh and by god it would sound incredible!
