Daelim Roadwin F14
If you are in the market for a learner bike, consider forgoing the second hand dross available and take the Roadwin for a ride... on the road. It is a well built, solid performer that looks absolutely fantastic. For essentially pocket change you get a responsive engine, clean gearbox smile inducing handling all in a package that is well suited to beginner riders and those who are of a less gigantic persuasion (and my massive frame was more than comfortable on it too!). On top of that you get a good looking fully faired bike, using quality materials, which looks like a bike and not something the postman would ride!... dare I say it, it really does “winâ€.
Harley Davidson Fat Boy Lo
If you want a bike that looks fantastic, that everyone will like and enjoy riding slowly with frequent rest stops then the Fat Boy Low is for you... If you want something that is fun to ride and supplies a shot of adrenaline every now and again I humbly suggest you keep looking.
Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R 2009
If you are looking for a track bike that you can use on the road the ZX6R is definitely a viable competitor. Before riding this bike I probably would have said “buy the Honda†but now... well let’s just say there is a real alternative for a genuinely street worthy track weapon, it’s a ninja and it is bright green... no stealth here just ride on in at high speed and smite the competition.
2009 Honda NXR 125 ES
Overall if you are looking at an inexpensive bike for a small farm or lifestyle block the NXR125 is definitely going to do the job. Furthermore if you are looking for a motorcycle that you can learn to ride both on and off the road the NXR in road legal form is definitely worth a look.
2009 Yamaha R1 Review
If it was my money; I was actually shelling it out to buy a 2009 superbike. Well I’d buy the R1! The R1 has the best sounding four cylinder engine I’ve ever heard. It simply makes me feel cool. Add in the incredible throttle response and it’s pretty hard not to want it.
2009 Aprilia Mana 850
Pretty straight forward, if you use your bike to commute, if you’re a bike courier, or if you want the most practical bike in the world. Test ride the Mana. It’s the future.
2009 Harley Davidson VRod Muscle
All in all this really is a solid machine, it looks absolutely fantastic, as much jewellery as motorcycle, it makes solid power that gives you a thrill every time you turn the throttle. The plastic “tank†means the fuel filler is hidden under the seat (it took me a while!) the Muscle also features a good looking, easy to read display and self cancelling turn signals (a very cool and functional gadget). There are a few minor complaints that could be fixed reasonably easily, were I to buy one I would look at a slightly different bar setup with a bit more bend to allow you to ride a bit more upright and enjoy the plush seat. Along with that a more open exhaust is a must to release the roar from the engine and as a bonus might release another few horses and rectify the leg burning issues. All in all if you are looking for a damn sexy, power cruiser for your modern wild west adventures you couldn’t go too far wrong with the V Rod Muscle
2009 Honda CB1000R Predator
The CB1000R is a straight up superb bike. All you need to do is this. Buy the loudest most illegal exhaust made by mankind, bolt it onto the bike and it will instantly be one of the coolest naked bikes available today. It’s that simple. Everything else about the CB1000R is near perfect. Ride it.
2009 Honda CB600F Hornet
If there was only one motorcycle in the world…it should probably be the Hornet.
Kawasaki Ninja 250R
Pros: Great styling, well built, nice riding position
Cons: No gear indicator, muffler position
